Almost 90% of the entire Cebu party community stayed up past their bedtimes last Saturday, August 28, 2010, to watch the sexy queen of house in person. The best part her concert is when the party lasted till dawn.
UK-based Bonnie Bailey, also known the “Queen of Sexy House”, the artist behind the Billboard Charts hit “Ever After” from Hed Kandi’s Eric Beach Mix, had a full house concert at the Cebu Mariner’s Court Convention Hall that was hailed as the main highlight in the ultimate club music event of the year in Cebu. San Mig Light Party All Night, is the no. 1 low-calorie beer brand’s first ever 12-hour marathon club music event and their Cebu gig is co-presented by Club Radio 93.1 FM.
The Mariner’s Court Convention Hall was transformed into one huge dance floor and with a guesstimate of 5,000 heads, it could perhaps topbill any other convention or conference held in Cebu since the ASEAN Summit!
Dj Bong Durano, Dj Surf Boutwood, Dj Marvin Evangelista and Dj Hans Congmon, local Djs all over the Philippines, accompanied Bonnie Bailey on stage and were given carte blanche with their own sets.

It pays to be in the front though because I get to see a close up Bonnie Bailey in all her gorgeous grandeur.
Take a look at these shoes! And she has them in black, too.
“The shoes are from BEBE,” Bonnie said. “I have them in both Pink and black. They are incredibly comfortable due to the platform on the front of the shoe!!! The Pink Bra is from Victoria’s Secret and the rest of the outfit was bought in a few boutiques in both South Beach Miami and LA (Gloves, dress, fishnet stockings, and jewelry).”
Her taste is impeccable and Bonnie admitted to doing to her own styling for her show! “I did my own make-up and styling. Make-up is mostly from MAC. I lost my lipgloss that night and Make-Up Forever High Definition stage make-up.” Flawless and done tastefully – I am in such awe.
Bonnie’s style is really unique and eye catching, and we can be even more impressed with that seeing as she is self styled. Often it’s accessories that make the finishing touches to an outfit, as mentioned before, her shoes are fabulous and her fishnet stockings really finish her look. Wolford have some great diamond tights which can really add a touch of glamour to your outfit and also translate Bonnie’s fishnet look from stage wear to day wear. These diamond tights are covered in strong diamond stripes, a more modern twist on the original fishnet look. Wear them with some platform heels like Bonnie to turn heads.
One of the show’s highlights was when San Mig Light, Club Radio and the show’s sponsors raffled off cool gadgets, overnight accommodations, shoes and shirts to lucky guests. My friend Aoi got a free pair of Fushu shoes and Joy got a gift certificate for an overnight stay at a Stakili resort. Anyone who was at that party probably thanked her lucky stars that she decided to go out that night!

Bonnie Bailey’s 10-song set includes all Hed Kandi classics and two new songs off her newest album, Twisted Sunshine. “Everywhere” which has topped the charts in about 10 countries worldwide, Firefly, Millions of Milkshakes, Fall Into My Heart, Kingdom of Pretty, No Promises, and Safe are some of the songs she sang. Bonnie Bailey also rendered her own gasp-inducing version of Francis Magalona’s “Cold Summer Nights”. It just made us love her more! Bonnie Bailey’s last song, however, started off with an acapella of Ever After. The moment was so sacrosanct as 5,000 vocal chords sang along with her. “Cebu you were one rockin LIVE WIRE!” Bonnie claimed. “5,000 fans singin every word gave me chills.”
“I had such an amazing time in Cebu!!! A night I will not soon forget!” gushed Bonnie. “The Phils was without a shadow of a doubt THE most amazing experience in my career! I LUV YOU MANILA n CEBU xooxox”
And this, my friends, is how Cebu spends their Saturday Night out of town.
Club Radio would like to give a special thanks to Mark Masa and their co-presentor SAN MIG LIGHT and its PARTY ALL NIGHT SERIES shows. Bonnie Bailey was also brought to you by Globe Tattoo, StarWorld, Fox, UNO Magazine and RCTV 36. Watch out for another Club Radio party this November as they celebrate their first year anniversary featuring the Bassmonkeys! Till next event, Cebu!
