Are you in favor of a classic bride or a modern debutante?
We were left to decide on our seats as we eagerly anticipate the first face to emerge from Marco Polo Cebu’s Blush, a debutante and bridal show that featured the Fashion Council of Cebu in cooperation with Wedding Essentials, the country’s fastest selling bridal magazine, at the Visayas ballroom of Marco Polo Plaza Cebu.
A towering architectural piece by Pinky Chang of Pink Flora stood at the center and Albert Arriba’s debutante entered in tulle and another in silk until the parade of dresses made me wish I can go back to being a debutante – or fast forward in time and be a bride me self!
Arcy Gayatin’s muse – AR Duenas looks every bit of a princess here!
This is another personal favorite of mine – although all that fabric is going to bulk my frame more but I can certainly picture Kate Middleton in this!
Girl crush Sharon Angel in Philip Rodriguez
Oh, we loved them all! It was a cross between clapping our hands in excitement and jumping up and down in our seats as we ogle and ooh and aahed over our very own Cebu fashion designers’ also members of the Fashion Council of Cebu Arcy Gayatin, Albert Arriba, Anthony Romoff, Cary Santiago, Jun Escario, Ditas Rodriguez, Oj Hofer, Philipp Tampus, Vania Romoff, Yvonne Quisumbing and Philip Rodriguez.
Marco Polo Cebu’s bridal shows happen every two years, each always outdo-ing the other. Thank you Marco Polo for having us!
