Spring has dubbed coral makeup as the most wearable beauty trend because it works on all skin tones. When you are in a Third World country that is limited to sun and no-sun seasons, coral looks are easy to achieve, instantly warms up the skin and quite seasonless!
I gave it a go and tried out a coral lipcolor from Marykay.
This creme lipstick in Sunburst is orange-y and just right for my taste. Yes, it worked for me and this isn’t my Grandma’s type of coral. They definitely work best on tan skin. Hello, Filipinas!
Because my skin has yellow undertones, I found out that Marykay’s Sunburst is just the right poppy lip color. You can always pair your coral lip to natural tones on your eyes or go without eye color at all.
About Marykay Creme Lipstick – $15 or Php600++
The long-wearing, stay-true color glides on with a lightweight, creamy texture for maximum color impact that lasts. Plus, it won’t feather or bleed. It’s even enhanced with vitamin E and a vitamin C derivative to help defend against wrinkle-causing free radicals. And it’s enriched with emollients and moisturizers, providing a veil of protection against moisture loss. Fragrance-free with a hint of vanilla flavor, the lipstick is perfect for combining with www.marykay.com/ Mary Kay® Lip Liner and Nourishine® Lip Gloss.
I love how my lips pop out on normal days with this shade. I tried using it on my cheeks and works just the same! The staying power though is no less than drugstore lipsticks even if it is supposed to be a long-wearing lipstick. The lipstick has a little bit of vanilla scent on it and the color doesn’t bleed. I love this lipstick formula and the texture is just too creamy you do not need to put on lip balm/conditioner prior to application.
Instead of giving you guys a swatch, I decided to take a photo of my lips wearing MaryKay’s Creme Lipstick in Sunburst. Didn’t show teeth here. Remind me to go see my dentist soon or a Mclean, VA Dentist in Tysons corner would be ideal.
Have you tried any lipcolor from Marykay or are corals your new love?
