Thank you Imperial Palace Cebu for inviting us to your Chinese New Year festival that had us at wishing why can’t we convert to being Chinese citizens for a while. They certainly know how to celebrate New Year!
The Lunar New Year started off with the Lion and Dragon dance and the traditional Yee Sang Toss for prosperity. Everything was carefully done in taste and tradition and the colorful display of everything that greeted us was just too overwhelming for someone like me.
What made this Chinese New Year celebration extra special is it being the first in the Philippines for Chinese New Year to become an official holiday. Thank you, Malacañang!

That and an entertaining acrobatic and contortionist exhibition certainly made this Lunar New Year exciting!
Natasha Cang is super talented! She hosted and sang at the same time that night.
