MAC Trends Presentation Summer/Spring 20131,315 views
MAC Cosmetics, the leading cosmetics brand that has been – on several runway shows and top celebrities all over the world just released their Spring/Summer collection for 2013. When MAC hosted a trends presentation or their famous MAC Technique event last February at the Marriott Cebu, makeup afionados, print and online media personalities gathered together in one room and eagerly waited for MAC Lead Trainer in the Philippines, Owen Sarmiento to teach us a thing or two on Summer and Spring 2013 looks.
A close up look
Out came the first model who bares the freshest face of all. Owen liked that he got to start with a clean canvass and only dabbed a little charged water mist on her face to reactivate the dewiness. Owen then explained he wanted to recreate the Psychedelic look used during the Milan Fashion Week Spring 2013. This look was all about popping up colors when you least expect them. The model has a flash of blue on her lower lids and hot pink color on her lips.
Owen attested to using the MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation as one of his top favorite foundations in the market. Not to be partial but the thing works like magic! This is going to be one reco I will try in the future. He also suggested having two shades of foundation during summer since your tan will not likely work on NC20s or lighter shades at all. My favorite part about MAC Technique events is the face chart they giveaway after – I can create my own look thanks to MAC! x
The other model (right) Loise Tan already was made up with MAC’s Puritan look where bronzer and all hints of summer were evident on her radiant skin.
