Everything was “amorphous” that afternoon as guests, the media and photographers flocked to the launching of Rajo Laurel’s Plains and Prints Space Odyssey Collection at the 2nd floor of SM City Cebu. The nationwide style tour with had Rajo flying from capital cities all over the Philippines and last March 18, we were very lucky to meet the famous fashion designer himself!

There was a lot of hype all over the digitally printed and washed silk collection along with the silk jersey creations Rajo made. They were gorgeous, smooth to the core, easy on the skin and the draping — oh, God, it looked totally different on evey woman’s body.

The four-dress, four-shirt and four-blouse designs from the collection will only have 250 pieces in each color and size. Yes, this is one small and special collection worth waiting for. Everyone had first dibs on Rajo Laurel autographed shirts that retails at P995 and the dresses at P1,995.

I wish retail launches were more like – interactive and personal!

Divine Lee flew in with Victor Basa and BFF Nix. Divine was manning the cashier and very much into the task. She is absolutely lovely.

Combining one of the bests in the world of retail and design, this collaboration is definitely one to watch out for.
