Shoe puns, anyone? I can hardly keep track of them all. Women who have had ish-shoes over the agony of defeet should shoe away their blues! When people say you have to walk a mile in someone else’s shoes to actually relate to their lives, these expert tips are already tried and tested.
A recent encounter with our love for shoe porn last June 8 at Luxx Vudu made us forget about the flats and the mules and kitten heels in the world. Mark Tenchavez of Shandar, whose sole proprietorship of Shandar and now Shandar Shoes was the sole reason that photographers and fashion enthusiasts all showed their support for the launching of the Cebuano shoe designer’s first collection. We have fallen head over heels with the intricateness and shoeniqueness of the Shandar Shoe designs! “I like each of them beacuse i designed it accordingly to my muse,” says Mark. Named after Christina Frasco, Marjay Ramirez, Gayle Urgello and Ceilo Ramirez, Shandar muses have big shoes to fill in and they are in all their bespoke glamour and glory.

How to walk in these shoes is easy – don’t get cold feet!

Cebu makeup artists such as Hans Ferrer, Emi Ayag, Owen Taboada, Jessie Glova and Ramil Solis teamed up with Angelo Kangleon and Joseph Ong for creating the catalogue of Shandar and reliving the craft during the launching. Shandar shoes just went totally uphill from there. Mark Tenchavez shared that, “Once you wear Shandar, you [will] feel elegant and proud and not to mention sexy [and] stylish at the same time.”
