The New WAGW Flagship Store

Cebu’s young and stylish set cheered and toasted to the newly renovated What A Girl Wants (WAGW) flagship store at the Ayala Center Cebu along with the fabulous ladies behind WAGW Diane Uy-Ang, founder and CEO, Jacklyn Uy, Marketing Director and Kryz Uy, Creative Director.

WAGW Founder and CEO Diane Uy enthuses “We are thrilled to reopen our flagship store in Cebu. From what started as a corner stall in 2004 in Ayala Center Cebu, What A Girl Wants has flourished into one of the dominant forces in the local retail scene with a total of 10 boutiques in Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Davao and Metro Manila by February 2013. And what better way to mark this occasion and highlight the city’s constantly evolving fashion scene by recognizing three of Cebu’s stylish personalities.” Marketing Director Jacklyn Uy continues.

What A Girl Wants, revealed the Young Ambassadors of Style campaign during the opening of their renovated flagship store by interior designer Hannah Lim. Featured in the Cebu campaign’s debut are fun-loving athlete Mark Lotzof, spontaneous collegiate Jessika Knight and passionate fashion designer Mia Arcenas.

WAGW’s Young Style Ambassadors of Cebu were featured wearing the brand’s holiday collection. Inspired by oriental high-build embroideries, opulent fabric and immensely decorative details, a collection of ornate grunge is born. According to WAGW’s Creative Director Kryz Uy “This collection brings about feelings of luxury and elegance juxtaposed with rawness and distressed modernity, making use of stunning brocades against laser cut leather, metallic spikes on elegant satin, heavy embellishments on figure skating spandex, giving the wearer a sense of refinement, excessiveness and class with today’s edge and sense of self-power.”

WAGW Ayala Center is their flagship store in Cebu and is open from 10am-10pm.
