Before there was concealer and setting powder , there was –
great skin Bobbi Brown corrector. I guess this is one of those times when that bluish, purple-ish hue under the eyes signals lack of sleep that not even Adobe can even fake it. Yep – raccoon eyes and eyebags become regular mainstays on my photos. Ew, right? Well, worry no more. Bobbi Brown got you covered.
You’d find it odd at first. One more layer before the must-do concealer? I didn’t understand it at first until I got to try it. With its semi-pink tone and creamy texture, the Bobbi Brown corrector blended so well with my concealer you’d think that they were soulmates. But why couldn’t regular concealer do all of that in one swipe?
From Bobbi Brown –
Corrector is pink- or peach-based to neutralize under-eye darkness and is designed to be used before Creamy Concealer. New and improved formula is long-wearing and brightens dark circles with quick, just-right coverage that’s easy to blend and won’t crease. And since great makeup starts with healthy skin, Corrector is infused with skin conditioners to protect the delicate under-eye area.
So think of this as your wakeup call to tired eyes. It brightens and neutralizes the discoloration. If you think piling up so much down there makes it odd, think again. They really, really help. Although the Bobbi Brown corrector creases and moves sometimes even with powder and concealer in it when you have had eye cream prior to applying. Perhaps you can let the eye cream settle for hours before applying to not overkill the moisture in it. Find your shade here. My Bobbi Brown corrector in Warm Sand retails at P1,250. I bought this in Bobbi Brown, Rustan’s Makati before Bobbi Brown opened in Cebu. Use a concealer brush when applying or your ring finger. The packaging is light enough and small enough to fit in purses so you can always carry this along for touch ups.
