I’ve decided to give my lashes a rest recently by taking off my 3-week old set of falsies. Despite how pretty you feel after uploading “I wake up like this” photos in Instagram, having the liberty of rubbing your eyes anytime or missing all that discomfort around your eyes is a welcome reprise.
Psyched to have tried Younique’s 3D Fiber Lash Mascara (thanks, Gel!) – a direct sales company that markets almost exclusively through the use of social media and sells products with high-quality ingredients that nourishes the skin and body. Although a few things can make me happy in the mornings – coffee, perhaps or a really trusty concealer (yes!), an eye-opening mascara does the most work for me next to falsies.
Say hello to Younique’s 3D Fiber Lash Mascara. You know our regular mascaras already have fibers in them..?
This comes in two tubes – the transplanting gel ….
…and the Fiber lash wand. How awesome, yes? You can actually control how much volume you can actually have – unlimited!
The process might be a little confusing to first-timers and women who are not used to having two tubes to sum up their mascara routine – which wand goes first? How much should you apply? I suggest curling your lashes to shape it up before using the first tube – the transplanting gel. Its long and stiff brush immediately coats the lashes and readies them for the second tube. See photo below of lashes without Younique’s 3D Fiber Lash Mascara.
Be extra careful with the Fiber brush as I sometimes have to wipe off excess fiber that falls off. When it does, don’t swipe it from your skin, just pick on it (or use the scotch tape eyeshadow fall out technique). The formula is 100% natural fibers from green tea anyway! Photo below shows lashes with transplanting gel. Eyeshadow from Inglot and gel eyeliner’s from Maybelline.
Set then your lashes with another coat of the transplanting gel. Sometimes I finish them off with another mascara like Maybelline’s Volume XXX Mascara or Revlon’s Grow Luscious Mascara. Lastly, comb through your lashes with an eyelash spoolie. Only comb after you set the fibers with the transplanting gel or you’d rub off the gel so much the fibers wouldn’t have enough adhesive to hold them in place.
When Mother Nature strikes and the clouds open, I’m pretty sure you need not worry about smudge or smeared lashes with Younique’s 3D Fiber Lash. At all. The weather may be out of our hands but Younique guarantees (thankfully!) highly-reliable, waterproof and a clump-free mascara life. The effect is dramatic and instantly gives you 12 hours of fresh lashes! I also tried putting on the mascara on my lower lashes and I love it! Photo below shows lashes after more than 8 hours.
Even if I’ve never spent so much time putting on mascara before, Younique’s 3D Mascara is definitely the mascara with the right moves. If you can actually spend so much time putting on makeup and skin care, what’s another additional minute for volumizing and lengthening your lashes?
I recommend taking off Younique’s 3D Lashes with warm water or oil-free eye makeup remover. To order your own set of Younique’s 3D Fiber Lashes, visit this site and contact us for orders. Happy shopping!
